Love in the Time of Vampirism: Realizing Your Destiny
Emerging Author Explores Destiny, Curses and Love Between Humans and Vampires in Fantasy Novel
EDMONTON, Alberta, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- In her thrilling new fantasy novel "Destiny Love" (published by Trafford Publishing), emerging author Heather Citulsky tells the captivating story of a cursed, 500-year-old, half-breed vampire and the chilling fear he suffers when he falls for an average mortal woman in her late twenties, suddenly wondering if she could truly be his destined love.
Half-breed vampire John Brace has pretty much accepted his situation and shut his heart off, spending the past five centuries living under a curse that brings death to each mortal that he falls in love with. After that fateful night when he retaliated and killed his former master, his former vampire girlfriend, Claudia, has killed everyone he has ever loved in a ceremony of fire as recompense. Now, all of the vampire fledglings, including Claudia, blamed John for the deaths of these mortals, constantly reminding him of his guilt for falling in love with a mortal.
Of course, he vowed never to love a mortal again and to remain a half-breed vampire so that he could walk during the day; however, little did John know that he would inevitably meet Kelly Rider, a girl he once saved from Claudia's clutches 18 years ago, when he stopped at the butcher shop for his daily two-liter bottle of pig's blood.
Slowly, Kelly and John begin to fall in love with each other despite the curse, and as John's heart starts to awaken, he quickly realizes that there is only one way to save his newest love from the ceremony. With no turning back, will John take the final step in his transformation in order to save Kelly? Or is she destined for the same fate as all the other mortals John has loved? Find out just how far these two will venture for love in Citulsky's riveting "Destiny Love," an intoxicating emotional and inventive romance between a mortal and a half-breed vampire that guarantees to be a spellbinding success.
