Louies Appliance has been in operation for five years. Late in 2014, Lewis decided that having U-Haul equipment on site would benefit the company immensely. Now customers with cars or personal trucks that they don't want to strap a refrigerator to have a more suitable and affordable option.

Of course, U-Haul trucks at Louies Appliance are often rented for residential moves as well with the busy moving season of late spring and summer rapidly approaching.

Before opening Louies Appliance, Doug worked in home remodeling. When the field took a dive, he needed to find a new source of income. Lewis grew up helping his dad with remodeling projects and had a knack for taking things apart and putting them back together.

Lewis graduated from Refrigeration School Inc. at the top of his class and has attended two national seminars. The entire repair team at Louies Appliance attends four local seminars each year and is aptly qualified to handle all of your appliance needs.

Doug has lived in the Phoenix area since 1968 and graduated from Brophy College Preparatory. Lewis is a Paradise Valley High graduate. With such close ties to the Valley, the family tries to get involved in community projects where it can make a difference.

The Travers donate to and handle appliance repairs for Home 'Fur' Good, a no-kill animal rescue and adoption agency in the Valley. Louies Appliance offers customers a chance to donate to this agency with the promise of a matching contribution.
