AURORA, Colo., Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Lotus School for Excellence (LSE), a K-12 Charter Public School is hosting the annual Math Matters Competition in Colorado on November 12, 2016. The competition will be held at 10am at Lotus School for Excellence located at 11001 East Alameda Avenue in Aurora, Colorado. Math Matters is the only math competition for fourth and fifth grade students in the state of Colorado. Registration is required.

Following the competition, all students, families and the community are invited to attend the Lotus School for Excellence S.T.E.A.M. Festival hosted also at the LSE campus. The festival celebrates science, technology, engineering, arts and math, which is the foundation at Lotus School for Excellence. The festival is created by LSE students and will include science demonstrations, robotics shows, arts & crafts, live music, sports and much more.
In 2015, Lotus School for Excellence hosted 364 students for the competition and the first place winner answered each question perfectly leading to a perfect score on the test.
