Los Angeles World Airports Lauds TSA Federal Security Director-LAX Larry Fetters Upon Retirement Announcement
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) officials issued the following statement upon the retirement announcement this afternoon by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Federal Security Director-LAX Lawrence Fetters, effective Saturday, February 13, 2010.

LAWA Executive Director Gina Marie Lindsey said, "On behalf of Los Angeles World Airports we very much appreciate Larry Fetters' service and leadership to LAX and he will be missed." She added, "We have a terrific relationship with TSA and we look forward to continuing to do so."

According to TSA officials, LAX Deputy Federal Security Director Vera Adams will serve as acting FSD until a permanent replacement is selected.
