Five days earlier, Willie Jordan, President of the Fred Jordan Mission and the Fred Jordan Mission were honored for their 70 years of service feeding the poor in LA by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, led by Supervisor Michael Antonovich, who is a long-time friend and supporter of the Mission. |

LA City Council Members and Supervisors are focusing more on addressing homelessness. Just last month the homeless census showed there are 44,359 homeless, a 12% increase. |
