Trippel to Serve as Key Management Leader for Small Business Mentoring Organization

WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" announces the national appointment of Lori Trippel as the district director for Northern California. Trippel, a volunteer leader based in Silicon Valley will lead and support local SCORE offices in providing small business mentoring and training to entrepreneurs across Northern California.

Trippel has been with SCORE since 2002. She started with Silicon Valley SCORE as a volunteer and moved on to become Chapter Chair and now serves as assistant district director before being named district director. Trippel has 20 years of general management experience in software development, computer services and product management. She has also established the US subsidiaries for two German software companies.

SCORE's Northern California region includes 5 chapters that reach 17,763 entrepreneurs annually through face-to-face and online counseling and a series of business workshops. The district's 236 volunteers have an average of 25 years of business knowledge, with a wide range of expertise.
