Longtime SC Johnson Executive Jane Hutterly Honored With ACI Distinguished Service Award
WASHINGTON, Feb. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Jane M. Hutterly, who spent more than 30 years at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. and a decade on the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Board of Directors, is the recipient of the 2012 ACI Elva Walker Spillane Distinguished Service Award.
The award was presented during ACI's 2012 Annual Meeting & Industry Convention, held at the Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.
Ms. Hutterly served as Chair and Vice Chair of the ACI Board of Directors during her decade of service on the Board. She retired in December 2010 as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Corporate & Environmental Affairs at SC Johnson, based in Racine, Wisconsin.
In this capacity, Ms. Hutterly led the consumer products business in environmental and sustainability actions, public and governmental policy, public affairs, and overall corporate social responsibility on a global and local level.

The Distinguished Service Award honors an individual for extensive or exceptional service to ACI who promoted the growth and interests of the association and the industries it represents; and who exercised outstanding leadership within ACI (formerly The Soap and Detergent Association).
The award is named in honor of the late Elva Walker Spillane, the former National Purity LLC chief executive who served on the association's Board for 20 years.
