ORLANDO, Fla., July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- LongHorn Steakhouse has now opened its third location in San Antonio, Texas. The restaurant, best known for its atmosphere and flavor of the American West, is located at 5706 West Loop 1604 North. As part of its pre-opening training period, the restaurant recently hosted a Friends and Family night which helped raise more than $1,000 for the San Antonio Public Library Foundation, totaling more than $5,800 donated to the organization since the restaurant's first Texas opening in January.

The 6,125 square-foot restaurant will employ up to 85 team members and seat more than 210 guests. Gary Parks, a restaurant industry veteran of 36 years, will serve as managing partner. The new restaurant follows the grand opening of LongHorn's first two San Antonio locations at 5803 North Loop 1604 West and 7833 South Interstate 35 in January and May, respectively.
"LongHorn Steakhouse is excited to have opened our third restaurant in San Antonio and we're looking forward to expanding our presence in the region," said Todd Burrowes, executive vice president of Operations for LongHorn. "We strive to help our guests relax and unwind in an inviting atmosphere while savoring a great steakhouse meal served with genuine western hospitality and are pleased that we could continue to support the San Antonio Public Library Foundation. LongHorn looks forward to making more contributions to the community for many years to come."
LongHorn is known for more than its signature hand-seasoned Flo's Filet and the bone-in Outlaw Ribeye. LongHorn chefs love to grill fresh fish and chicken in addition to steak. Items such as LongHorn Salmon, a fresh, hand-cut salmon fillet seasoned with a bourbon marinade; fall-off-the-bone tender Baby Back Ribs; and Parmesan Crusted Chicken, two juicy chicken breasts grilled and topped with a parmesan cheese and garlic crust, are just some of the other specialties guests will find on the menu.
The new restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
