Bringing more than 30 years of experience to LoJack, Cappitelli will be responsible for professional training and providing equipment, while serving as an advisor to law enforcement agencies throughout Illinois that use LoJack's tracking technology to combat auto theft.

Cappitelli began his career in 1981 as a Patrol Officer for the Chicago Police Department, eventually shifting into the Detective Division. In 2007, he became the Supervising Sergeant of the Financial Crimes Unit, also overseeing Auto Theft. Most recently, Cappitelli supervised the new Chicago Major Auto Theft Investigations Unit.
