LogRhythm CISO Prepares Healthcare Entities for the New World of Cyber Security Risks at 2015 Digital Health Summit
BOULDER, Colo., May 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- LogRhythm, The Security Intelligence Company, today announced that James Carder, its chief information security officer (CISO) and vice president of LogRhythm Labs, will share extensive healthcare IT security insight as a participant on a panel titled, "What's Next? The Future of Data Security," on May 7 at 10:50 a.m. MT at the 2015 Digital Health Summit in Denver, Colo.
The panel will address heightened IT security challenges facing healthcare companies. Healthcare practitioners can feel overwhelmed; it's hard to know what to do to protect patient data and how to comply with rules and regulations about privacy and security. The panelists will provide guidance on patient data protection in order to prepare health practitioners for the cyber threats of the future.
Carder brings to the discussion first-hand experience from his days as director of security informatics at Mayo Clinic, where he architected a state-of-the-art incident response infrastructure and established its cyber threat intelligence and response organization.
