WASHINGTON, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Logistics System Incorporated (LSI) was awarded a prime position on the multiple award contract vehicle for the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Information Technology Support Services (ITSS-5) IT services support contract under the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) track.
The $4.5 billion ITSS-5 program is a follow-on to ITSS-4 and has a base period of five years with an additional five-year option. It is the fifth generation of ITSS acquisition vehicles within the DOJ. Services issued under this IDIQ contract include a full-range of IT products, hardware, software, technologies and other related services.
President and CEO of LSI, Lawrence Wilkerson, stated, "LSI is thrilled about this phenomenal win! We assembled a dynamic team who collectively bring a history of considerable knowledge, competence and innovation for this opportunity and are humbled at assuming a place on this vehicle as one of the few chosen teams. This new contract allows LSI to develop a footprint within the Justice Department as a Prime, and we can't wait to expand on our IT services with our new customer."
