One European Project in Line for €20,000 Prize
A competition to search for innovative projects that are delivering a more sustainable future for local communities has been launched by Logica, a leading business and technology service company.
http://www.Sustainability-Stories.com has been created as an interactive platform to host the competition, and features inspiring sustainable projects from around the world. Entrants will be able to showcase their work, connect with like-minded individuals and interact with Logica experts.
Projects will be judged on their level of creativity and innovation by a panel of sustainability experts including: Prof. Dr. Dr. Ervin Laszlo, founder and President of the Club of Budapest, Professor Mark Maslin, climatologist at University College London and Tom Raftery, Principal Analyst for GreenMonk.
The competition is open to people in the UK, Netherlands, Finland, France, Germany and Sweden. One deserving winner will receive €20,000 worth of consultancy from Logica's team of sustainability experts, to help strategise and implement their project.

Prof. Dr. Dr. Ervin Laszlo, born 1932 in Budapest, Hungary, founder and President of the Club of Budapest (http://www.clubofbudapest.org ), was one of the first representatives in the area of systems philosophy and general theory of evolution. He published more than 80 books translated into more than 20 languages. In the course of his long academic career as a professor for philosophy, systems philosophy and future sciences, he worked in teaching and research at a variety of reputable universities in the US, Europe, and the Far East.

Professor Mark Maslin FRGS, FRSA is a climatologist at University College London and a science advisor to the Global Cool Foundation, Climatecom Strategies, Carbon Sense and Carbon Visuals. Maslin is a leading scientist with particular expertise in past and future global climate change and has published over 115 papers in journals such as Science, Nature, and Geology. Tom Raftery
Based in Seville, Spain, Tom Raftery is the Principal Analyst for GreenMonk, the Energy and Sustainability practice of industry analyst firm Redmonk. Tom speaks at international conferences and writes extensively on topics such as smart grids, green IT and cloud computing's green potential. Tom is also co-founder and non-exec director of Cork Internet eXchange, a hyper energy-efficient data centre in Cork, Ireland.
Christèle Delbé
Christèle Delbé Joined the Vodafone Group in March 2010 as Head of Sustainability, Products and Communications. Her role is to develop Vodafone's sustainability engagement strategy with global enterprise customers and identify sustainable innovations opportunities. She has recently commissioned some research exploring and quantifying the opportunities for mobile to drive efficiency and sustainability in agriculture. Christèle holds an MSc in Environmental Management and Policy from the University of Lund in Sweden.
Paul Lloyd Robson
Paul Lloyd Robson works in CSR and environmental sustainability with a focus on demonstrating the enabling aspects of technology on solving some of society's most pressing problems. Today he is responsible for managing Microsoft's global environmental sustainability engagement in the field. Paul has been engaged in numerous partnerships with Microsoft's customers, partners as well as with NGO's and Governments with the common theme of illustrating the enabling power of innovative technology in reducing environmental impacts.
