Hershy and Welz add to the expertise in Lockton's Northeast P&C operations

PHILADELPHIA, July 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton, the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker, has announced two new hires in its Philadelphia office, expanding expertise in its property and casualty insurance business.

Martin Hershy, Account Executive, develops and delivers strategic product and service solutions for clients. A graduate of Temple University's Fox School of Business, Hershy has a bachelor's degree in business administration and more than seven years of experience in risk management and insurance, working previously for Marsh, Conner Strong & Buckelew, and Temple University. He is a current member of the Philadelphia Greater Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network.

Michael Welz, Business Development Consultant, is responsible for business development and strategic client relationship management. Welz brings eight years of investor relations experience to his role, having previously worked for Verdis Investment Management and SEI Advisor Network, where he held multiple positions. He graduated from La Salle University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
