Lockton Names Silverstein to Senior Leadership Role in Casualty Insurance

ATLANTA, April 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton has appointed Eric Silverstein to a new role as Senior Vice President for Lockton's national casualty insurance practice. Silverstein will also lead the national accounts team for the Southeast U.S., based in Lockton's Atlanta, Ga. office. Lockton is the world's largest privately held insurance broker.

Silverstein has extensive experience in advising large and growing companies about managing complex risks and structuring casualty insurance programs. He will provide support and guidance to Lockton clients in the Southeast and nationally while strengthening relationships with leading insurers who underwrite the risks.

Silverstein has more than 25 years experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. He started his career at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and Wausau Insurance. He has also worked with regional and global brokers, most recently for eight years as Casualty Practice Leader at Beecher Carlson in Atlanta.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Accounting from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
