Lockton Names Michael Andler to Lead Property Practice

Veteran insurance professional to provide clients with unmatched property insurance expertise

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton has named industry veteran Michael Andler as executive vice president and head of its US property insurance practice. Andler will bolster the services and solutions available for large, complex property clients, coordinate with Lockton's teams globally on insurance market access, and advise clients on property insurance market trends. Andler will operate from Lockton's New York office. Lockton is the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.

Michael Andler joins Lockton after 13 years at Aon in various senior leadership and property specialist positions, most recently serving as managing director and chief operating officer of the US Property Practice. Andler is a leading expert in property insurance program design, coverage understanding, client development, risk analytics, and catastrophe coverage for flood, windstorm, and earthquake, as well as having facilitated the disaster recovery plan for Hurricane Sandy. Andler spent more than seven years with insurance broker Willis prior to joining Aon working with clients on complex property insurance programs. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island and was named a 2014 Power Broker by Risk & Insurance magazine.
