Liam D. Garrity joins Lockton as Assistant Vice President & Producer

ATLANTA, Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton Companies just announced the addition of seasoned benefits employee broker Liam Garrity to its Atlanta benefits operation. Lockton is the world's largest privately owned independent insurance broker. Garrity will serve as Assistant Vice President and Producer.

Garrity will work with clients on complex employee benefit programs, focusing on leading account teams to deliver the best total cost of risk program coverage and service for clients. "Our clients look to us to manage their risk and our Producers are responsible for that implementation," said Doug Hutcherson, President of Lockton's Southeast operations. "Liam is a talented leader who can strategize with clients to minimize risk and achieve success. We are fortunate to have him at Lockton consulting and developing our clients' programs."

In addition to his background in benefits, Garrity also comes to Lockton with finance expertise. As a former Senior Sales Representative he led group sales, helping customers achieve lifetime financial security. More recently he built and administered employee benefit programs for clients. His finance experience was essential as he helped clients manage the cost of those programs.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
