Senior Vice President/Director Jeffrey Miller comes to Lockton Dunning Benefits from Aetna where he most recently served as senior vice president of sales for the Mid-America Region. In this role, Jeffrey led efforts for the Mid-America region including Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City, Oklahoma and Texas. He has also served as a vice president for Aetna as well as PacifiCare of Texas. Prior to moving to Texas, Jeffrey worked with PacifiCare of Oklahoma and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma. He possesses more than 20 years of leadership experience. In his role with Lockton, Jeffrey will provide strategic consulting expertise for client service teams. Jeffrey will also join the Lockton Dunning Benefits leadership team, a group dedicated to positioning the company for future growth through innovation. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Westminster College in Fulton, Mo. He also serves on the board of directors for Open Arms, Inc., chaired the 2009 and 2010 Dallas Aetna Heart Walk team and is treasurer for the Dallas chapter of the WorldWide Employee Benefits Network.
Christian Moreno joins the Lockton Dunning Benefits team as vice president. With more than 10 years of experience, Christian specializes in health plan design and consulting as well as wellness solutions related to health and welfare benefits for employers. He served previously as vice president and executive director of Cooper Benefits where he developed the business model for Cooper Aerobics Center's entrance into group employee benefits and corporate wellness consulting. He gained international experience in South Africa and Southeast Asia providing medical and wellness consulting for large and mid-market employers while working for NMG Consultants and Actuaries. He has also worked previously with Health at Work Wellness Actuaries and Destiny Health Insurance Company (now The Vitality Group). Christian holds a bachelor of science in finance from Duquesne University.
Richard Allen joins Lockton Dunning Benefits as senior account executive and team lead from Cooper, where he most recently served as the vice president of risk and group benefits for Cooper Corporate Solutions. While in this position, Rich consulted on results-driven risk management solutions and developed multi-year strategies for employers seeking to improve the health of their population. Prior to Cooper, he worked as the director of large group underwriting for Destiny Health Insurance Company (now The Vitality Group) in Chicago, IL. He has also previously held positions with BlueCross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Rich holds a bachelor of science in actuarial science and finance from the University of Illinois.
John Goodner joins Lockton Dunning Benefits as senior account executive and team lead. John has more than 12 years of employee benefits consulting experience, focusing on employee health and welfare benefit plans. His healthcare experience includes traditional and consumer-driven plan designs as well as designing and implementing employee health management initiatives. John previously worked as a healthcare consultant for Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Company as well as Watson Wyatt Worldwide. He holds a bachelor of science in government from California Baptist University in Riverside, CA.
Lockton Dunning Benefits congratulates Steve Brooks on his recent promotion from vice president to senior vice president. He will continue to serve as a member of the health and welfare benefits practice with a focus on managing client engagements and business development. Steve has more than 24 years experience in employee benefits on both the carrier and consultant/broker sides of the business. He began his career at Towers Perrin where he gained experience in underwriting, financial management and vendor management and he went on to work at UNUM where he led national accounts for the last 10 years of his tenure prior to departing for Lockton Dunning Benefits. He holds a bachelor of business administration from Southern Methodist University.
