Lockport Elks to Start Camp Happiness

CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Lockport Elks will continue bringing the experience of summer camp to special-needs children and adults, and increase the 3rd year attendance by 33%.

Camp Happiness will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the Lockport Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, Lockport Elks Lodge No. 41 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
