Lockheed Martin Raises Quarterly Dividend By 15%
BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, the Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) board of directors authorized a fourth quarter 2012 dividend of $1.15 per share, a $0.15, or 15 percent, increase over last quarter. The dividend is payable on Dec. 28, 2012 to holders of record as of the close of business on Dec. 3, 2012.
"Despite the uncertain environment, we remain focused on meeting our customer commitments and increasing the efficiency of our operations," said Lockheed Martin Chairman and CEO Bob Stevens. "Delivering value to our customers enables us to generate value for our investors."
This is the tenth consecutive annual double digit increase of the Lockheed Martin quarterly dividend rate.

The corporation's net sales for 2011 were $46.5 billion.
