Lockheed Martin Elects Thomas J. Falk to Board of Directors
BETHESDA, Md., June 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) board of directors has elected Thomas J. Falk, Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, to its board, effective tomorrow.
Earlier in his 27-year career at Kimberly-Clark, Falk, 52, held finance, strategy and management positions before being appointed CEO in 2002 and Chairman in 2003. Before joining Kimberly-Clark in 1983, Falk was with the accounting firm of Alexander Grant & Co.
Falk currently serves on the boards of Catalyst and the University of Wisconsin Foundation. Additionally, he is a national governor of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 and earned a master of science degree in management as a Sloan Fellow at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1989.
