Lockheed Martin Cyber Information Assurance System Added to U.S. General Services Administration Products and Services List
Trusted Manager Allows Secure Sharing of Top Secret, Secret and Unclassified Data
PHOENIX, Feb. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin's secure multi-level information-sharing solution, Trusted Manager, has been added to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) schedule of products and services available to the government. Trusted Manager or TMAN, is an information assurance solution that provides the ability to manually and/or automatically transfer data files, streaming data, and imagery products between two or more differing security domains. The GSA Schedule is the most widely used government contract vehicle focused solely on procuring goods and services for the government.
"Trusted Manager helps customers meet critical mission needs by allowing users to securely share top secret, secret and unclassified data," said Jim Quinn, vice president of C4ISR Systems for Lockheed Martin's IS&GS-Defense. "Having the system available on the GSA Schedule simplifies the acquisition process for TMAN and will help new customers benefit from the TMAN solution."
Created and maintained by Lockheed Martin, TMAN incorporates a suite of trusted network-protection technologies that "guards" classified and sensitive data from unauthorized access while simultaneously protecting networks from intended/unintended corruption by 'malicious' or hidden code. As a high assurance information guard, TMAN allows data to be manually and/or automatically transferred between two or more differing security domains. TMAN can pass a full range of streaming data types between security enclaves, including high definition full motion video, Link-16 data, Ground Moving Target Indicator data, Automatic Dependant Surveillance Broadcast, streaming XML, and voice data. In addition, TMAN provides customers with the ability to meet growing data throughput requirements by fully supporting 10 gigabit network connections and concurrent multi-node processing.
TMAN was recently added to the Unified Cross Domain Management Office's (UCDMO) baseline list of cross-domain solutions. The UCDMO list identifies accredited systems that are available for reuse and verified to provide the ability to transfer Department of Defense and Intelligence Community information between multiple security domains. Inclusion on the UCDMO Baseline provides Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers a list of proven technologies and solutions.
