NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Locket, an Android application that rewards users for renting out their lock screen to advertisers, today announced Charity Sabater as Vice President of National Sales. Previously, Sabater led the US sales at King.com, the maker of Candy Crush Saga. Sabater joins the team as Locket continues explosive growth since its successful launch two months ago. Locket is now delivering over 7 million full-screen high engagement impressions on a daily basis.
"Bringing onboard new talent who knows how to construct meaningful partnerships was critical for Locket. Charity has helped publishers build lasting relationships with sought after brands time and time again. We are thrilled she has joined our growing team," said Yunha Kim, co-founder and CEO of Locket.
Launched just a few months ago, Locket has already partnered with high profile clients including Hershey's, Sears and Sunny Delight.
"The current landscape of mobile advertising platforms is dominated by mobile ad networks, and advertisers are challenged to identify truly unique value propositions in today's cluttered marketplace," said Sabater. "Locket uniquely provides brands and partners with highly impactful real estate to reach consumers at a glance as they unlock their phone throughout the day. Rewarding users for allowing advertising on their lock screen is simple yet brilliant."
Prior to working at Locket, Sabater led US sales for King.com. She has had extensive experience in driving innovative advertising solutions across numerous media platforms including TV, web, mobile, gaming and second screen interactivity. She has also served as VP of East Coast sales for Gaia Online and was the National Digital Sales Manager for Telemundo, an NBC Universal property.
