Launched in March of 2009, Lockerz has grown quickly to more than 17.5 million members worldwide. Lockerz rewards members for doing what they love online. Members earn PTZ™ (Points) by connecting with friends, viewing content and shopping in Locker boutiques. PTZ are then redeemed for discounts of up to 100% on the world's hottest brands.
Lockerz launched its social commerce platform, fwb;, in October of 2010. On fwb;, members have Lockerz that showcase things they are passionate about in the form of Decalz (akin to badges), including videos, movies, games and fashion. Decalz are earned every time members connect with friends, play content or shop. When a Lockerz friend clicks on a Decal in another member's Locker, both members earn PTZ. If a friend purchases a product or views a video in-full after clicking on a Decal, both members earn significantly more PTZ. As members accumulate PTZ, they can use them for discounts on merchandise in Lockerz Boutiques. New boutiques launch every Tuesday and feature brands such as 7 for All Mankind, Alex & Ani, Splendid, Rock & Republic, Matt Bernson, Quiksilver, Nintendo, and Xbox 360, to name a few.
The entire Lockerz team is honored to be a finalist among a group of such distinguished, innovative technology companies," said Kathy Savitt, founder and chief executive officer of Lockerz. "We believe that Washington State is the best place in the country to build a company, which is why we moved relocated our headquarters here."
