Geared for fashion enthusiasts, the series chronicles the days and nights of Ms. Igel, one of the fashion industry's top designers and stylists.
The first episode of the eight-episode series premieres today exclusively on Lockerz at www.lockerz.com/behindtheseams. New episodes will air through January 2012. Following is a summary of the series:
Episode #1: New York Fashion Week – Stacy celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Boy Meets Girl brand by featuring Ashley Hebert ("The Bachelorette") in her runway show. Also featured is an acoustic performance by The Veronicas and appearances by Paula Garces ("Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle"), NBA star Dwight Howard and world tennis champion Victoria Azarenka
Episode #2: Fashion Week Goes to Penn State – Stacy brings the ultimate college fashion experience to university students right off of New York Fashion Week. The team puts on a full fashion show at Campus Candy – a candy store on campus.
Episode #3: Get Smartie – Stacy tours the Smarties® candy factory with Liz Dee, a fifth generation candy maker and co-owner of Smarties Candy Company. Together, they embellish Boy Meets Girl items with candy to create a whole new look with DIY smartazzle fun!
Episode #4: Good Hair Day – Celebrity hairstylist Tara Smith and Stacy team up to style each other and give viewers tips for the Holidays for girls on the go. This includes great hair looks and how-tos.
Episode #5: Scratch DJ Academy – Stacy surprises her team with spinning lessons and teaches them how to DJ. They receive a private lesson from DJ JUNG at Scratch DJ Academy in New York City, which was founded by the late Jam Master Jay of Run DMC.
Episode #6: A Day in the Life – Join Stacy for a crazed day of back-to-back meetings, including a visit from a high-school student who is part of Stacy's Boy Meets Girl University™ program.
Episode #7: Sammi and Stacy – Actress Sammi Hanratty ("Pushing Daisies") works with Stacy as an ambassador for BullyBust.org to fight bullying in schools. Stacy dresses Sammi for her media interviews and the premiere of her new movie, "The Greening of Whitney Brown."
Episode #8: Springtime with Sabi – Booming pop sensation Sabi, who is currently on tour with Britney Spears and a featured artist with Cobra Starship hit song "You Make Me Feel," joins Stacy for a fun-filled photo shoot at Caravan Stylist Studio with Sophie Elgort, the highly sought after shutterbug and daughter of world-renown photographer Arthur Elgort. Both Stacy and stylist Ali Lang dress Sabi for Boy Meets Girl's Spring 2012 campaign in the latest styles
