Location Labs Expands Management Team to Support Rapid Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Location Labs Inc., the leader in providing mobile location-based services, today announced Akash Agarwal has joined the company's executive team as Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development. In his role at Location Labs, Agarwal will help accelerate the company's business development efforts and design the go-to-market strategy for new and existing product initiatives. This announcement comes on the heels of the company launching its Location-as-a Service Platform earlier this month.

Agarwal, who most recently held the position of VP of Business Development, and Sales at Plusmo Inc. (AT&T), brings significant sales, mobile and business development experience to Location Labs. During his tenure with Plusmo, the company's sales and market ranking catapulted, making it the #1 provider of mobile widgets before its acquisition by AT&T (AT&T Interactive, Yellow Pages, Division). Prior to his work at AT&T Agarwal was founder/CEO of Greennote.com, a leading venture-backed company in the social networking and microfinance space. In addition to this entrepreneurial work, Agarwal also held management roles at Mercury Interactive, Hewlett-Packard and Oracle Corporation.
