"Amy and Mike bring an impressive combination of experience, technical know-how and drive," said Raj Aggarwal, CEO of Localytics. "As Localytics continues to grow, Mike and Amy's leadership in engineering and human resources will help us continue to attract the talent and establish the infrastructure that supports our rapid growth."
Mike Aeschliman, who previously ran Product and Engineering at Rackspace's private cloud division, joins Localytics to head up its world-class engineering division and lead the technology vision for the company's platform. Prior to Rackspace, Mike spent 16 years in various infrastructure and engineering roles at Fidelity, where he led several disruptive, innovative projects and saw the company through a significant growth period. At Localytics, Mike will lead the technology and infrastructure vision for the company's platform.
Amy Cohn joins Localytics as the VP of Human Resources and Talent, where she'll partner with leadership to create an employee strategy that aligns talent programs with key business initiatives. Prior to Localytics, Amy served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Compete, taking the organization from 75 employees to 175 employees in less than two years before Compete merged with Dynamic Logic to become Millward Brown Digital. She then served as SVP of HR for the newly formed company.
Amy and Mike join the Localytics team on the heels of the $35 million in Series D venture funding led by Sapphire Ventures, and the release of Predictions, a new product to help marketers predict their user's next move and create personalized campaigns to engage them.
The new executive team members represent a small piece of Localytics' employee growth this year, as the company entered 2015 with 150 employees and has since increased their headcount to 250 employees globally, including rapid international growth in APAC and EMEA. The company continues to be a top destination for the best tech talent in the country. Over the past year, senior leaders from companies like LogMeIn, Constant Contact, Brightcove, HubSpot and Rapid7 also joined the executive team.
Additionally, the Localytics platform continues to scale, now supporting 37,000 apps across 2.7 billion devices for customers including ESPN, HBO, National Geographic, Nordstrom, Priceline and The New York Times.
