Local Real Estate Professional to Lead Urban Villages' New Seattle Office

The news comes on the heels of announcement made by Urban Villages in December about the development company's significant historic revitalization project in Seattle's Pioneer Square. Under the scope of the project, Urban Villages will retrofit and otherwise revitalize three marquee buildings in Pioneer Square, transforming a full city block into one of Seattle's most compelling destinations. Davis will serve as the project manager.

Urban Villages' multi-year revitalization will include the Manufacturer's Building at 419 Occidental Ave., the Westland Building at 100 S. King St., the former Schoenfeld Furniture building at 115 S. Jackson St., and a re-imagined and activated alleyway with retail spaces, gathering areas and outdoor events planned throughout the year. The result will be an exciting and unique entertainment, work, residential, retail and dining hub that breathes new life into the south end of the neighborhood.

Jon Buerge, Urban Villages' vice president and principal, noted that given the project's complexity and historically sensitive nature, the new project manager role was pivotal. "The Pioneer Square development has many moving parts, from feasibility and completion of construction to tenant build out and property management," he said. "It was imperative that we find a local leader who could both direct and execute. Angi brings an incredibly deep industry experience across all facets of mixed-use development and possesses a keen understanding of the Seattle market. We're thrilled to have her serve as project manager."

For her part, Davis is equally excited about the development and the new project manager position. "Pioneer Square is a beloved and historically significant neighborhood that means so much to this community," said Davis. Davis most recently served as a senior executive at Nitze-Stagen & Co., Inc. in Seattle where she was responsible for real estate, asset and property management, development and leasing. She received her Bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University and is presently an MBA candidate at Washington State University. The Urban Villages Seattle office is housed in the development's Westland Building in Pioneer Square.
