Local Phusion Projects Employees Volunteer at New Orleans Food Bank
CHICAGO, Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- A local team from Phusion Projects, LLC, manufacturer of Four Loko, volunteered their time last week at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans helping to package food for distribution, as well presenting the organization with a $5,000 donation.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana leads the fight against hunger in south Louisiana through food distribution, education, advocacy and disaster response. Second Harvest provides food to nearly 240 non-profit and faith-based agencies throughout its 23-parish service territory –serving approximately 262,800 different clients annually. In any given week, 41,800 different people access emergency food services through the Food Bank's member agencies.
This is Phusion Projects' eighth food bank volunteer day and donation in 2011. The initiative will continue once a month throughout the year in select communities. Additionally, the company encourages further community involvement by offering an employee matching program for contributions made to non-profit organizations.
