Local Dallas-Area Gynecologist Dr. Kimberly J. Lefholz to Hold Free Women's Health Seminar on June 27th
Event to Cover Latest Advancements for Treating Heavy Bleeding, Uterine Fibroids, Bladder Leakage and More
ARLINGTON, Texas, June 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Kimberly J. Lefholz, a gynecologic surgeon practicing in Arlington, today announced that she will offer a free seminar on health issues that commonly affect most women during their lifetime — including heavy menstrual bleeding, uterine fibroids, urinary incontinence, and birth control. The seminar will be held on June 27th from 10:00 am-12:00pm at the Grubbs Infiniti Community Room, 1500 Highway 114, Grapevine, TX.
"In my practice, I see many patients who have concerns about their gynecologic health; there is a need for women to know what is happening with their bodies and what treatment options are available," said Dr. Lefholz. "Uterine fibroids, for instance, affect up to 70% of women, and most often, hysterectomy is the recommended treatment. However, there are other less invasive and less traumatic options that women need to be aware of. The Acessa® procedure, for example, is a same-day, minimally invasive procedure that treats the fibroids without harming the uterus."
The seminar is sponsored by Halt Medical, the developer of the minimally invasive Acessa procedure for symptomatic uterine fibroids. Women can learn more about the Acessa procedure and other advances in women's health by attending this informative event. Space is limited; reservations can be made by calling or emailing Claire, Acessa Patient Advocate, at (972) 765-2423, [email protected], or by registering online at http://www.acessadoctor.com/#!symposium/ceg4.
