Local Company Takes Halloween To New Heights

TROY, Mich., Oct. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- United Shore took Halloween to another level this year with its annual Octoberfest. The week-long celebration transformed the mortgage headquarters for a series of Boonited activities and events including:

• Desk Decorating – United Shore team members kicked off the week by displaying their creativity with the decorating of desks and departments in themes such as Candy Land, Magnum P.I., Harry Potter's Hogwarts, and an interactive game of Clue. Team members voted for the Most Creative winner, while Ben Ishbia - son of Mat Ishbia, CEO/President - and Will Lawson - son of Laura Lawson, Chief People Officer - decided on the Viewer's Choice winner.
• Trick-or-Treating – More than 400 kids of United Shore team members visited numerous candy stations throughout the Troy headquarters. The final stop was the United Shore Auditorium which served apple cider, donuts and a showing of Monsters University.
• Costume Contest – Halloween Day concluded the festivities with a costume contest and prizes for the scariest, most creative, and best group themed costumes.
