Local Childcare Worker From Bright Horizons Shortlisted for Top Award

WALLINGFORD, England, August 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Kathryn Learner, Early Years Specialist Teacher at Bright Horizons Nurseries has been recognised for her outstanding contribution to young children's learning. 

Kathryn has been shortlisted for the prestigious Nursery World Early Years Professional of the Year Award.  This Nursery World award recognises practitioners who have gained Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) through one of the recognised pathways.

In her role, Kathryn, who achieved her Early Years Professional Status in March 2010, works closely with staff at a number of Bright Horizons nurseries across Oxfordshire to inspire staff teams to reflect critically on their practice and to look for ways to strengthen and further improve their pedagogical leadership of children's learning and development.
