Lizelda Lopez to Rejoin Ogilvy PR as Vice President
Former Schwarzenegger Appointee to Expand Health and Multicultural Communications Offerings
SACRAMENTO, Calif., May 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide announced today that Lizelda Lopez, a political appointee in former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's administration, has rejoined Ogilvy Public Relations West as a Vice President in the Public Affairs practice. Lopez will play a leadership role in expanding Ogilvy's award-winning work in public affairs and communications throughout the Western United States. In addition, Lopez provides a strong addition to the agency's multicultural communications offering and will help with Ogilvy's outreach programs into California's diverse communities.

Prior to rejoining Ogilvy, Lopez served as an appointee in two state agencies. First, she served as Assistant Associate Secretary for the California Health and Human Services (CHHS) Agency where she coordinated Spanish-language media, and was a chief liaison between the 12 departments and one board under CHHS purview. Then as Deputy Director of the Department of Social Services, Lopez served as chief liaison between the Department and the media.
