Liz Wiseman, Best Selling Author, to Keynote 2014 Women Tech Awards

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 7,  2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Women Tech Council is pleased to announce that Liz Wiseman, author of Wall Street Journal bestseller Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter, and president of the Wiseman Group, will address the 7^th annual Women Tech Awards luncheon. The event will be held Wednesday, September 17, at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Over 700 are expected to be in attendance.

Liz Wiseman teaches leadership to executives around the world. She is the president of the Wiseman Group, a leadership research and development firm headquartered in Silicon Valley, California. Some of her recent clients include: Apple, Dubai Bank, Genentech, Nike, PayPal, Salesforce.com and Twitter. Liz has been listed on the Thinkers50 ranking and named one of the top 10 leadership thinkers in the world.

She is the author of Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter, a Wall Street Journal bestseller and The Multiplier Effect: Tapping the Genius Inside Our Schools. Her new book Rookie Smarts will be released this fall. She has conducted significant research in the field of leadership and collective intelligence and writes for Harvard Business Review and a variety of other business and leadership journals.
