LIXIL Brands Win Multiple Awards From Distinguished International Design Competitions
PISCATAWAY, N.J., April 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Standard, DXV, and GROHE brands, part of LIXIL Americas, maker of pioneering water and housing products, have been recognized with multiple honors from two prestigious design award programs.
The Cayenne semi-pro kitchen faucet from American Standard and the AT200 LS SpaLet from DXV have both won 2019 Red Dot: Product Design Awards. The Red Dot Award is one of the world's largest design competitions, and in 2019, designers and manufacturers from 55 countries entered more than 5,500 products in the competition.
Winners of the 2019 GREEN GOOD DESIGN Award include the GROHE Euphoria 260 multi-function shower head, the American Standard Spectra shower collection, and the DXV AT200 LS SpaLet. Presented by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, the GREEN GOOD DESIGN award distinguishes innovative industrial designs that display forward thinking and progress toward a healthier and more sustainable world.
