MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Livongo Health, the leading consumer digital health company that empowers people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives, announced today that Arnnon Geshuri has joined the company as its Chief People Officer. This executive appointment comes at a time when Livongo has proven its approach to empower people with diabetes by delivering measurable clinical¹ and financial² results and, most important, satisfied members. Livongo is expanding rapidly and with the introduction of its new hypertension solution, will begin addressing multiple chronic conditions for more than 250 large self-insured employers, health systems, health plans, and pharmacy benefit manager partners.
As Chief People Officer, Geshuri's responsibilities will include benefits, recruiting, and onboarding for the fast-growing startup. He will also focus on development and learning initiatives for the workforce, which will more than double in size over the next nine months. He will report to Livongo Chief Executive Officer Glen Tullman.
"Arnnon has worked with some of the most innovative consumer companies leveraging the power of technology. His experience scaling a digital consumer health company where people are our most important asset, and knowledge in the form of helping people stay healthy is our product, will be a valuable addition to an already exceptionally strong management team," said Livongo Chief Executive Officer Glen Tullman.
Most recently, Geshuri served as Vice President of Human Resources at Tesla and was responsible for driving HR operations and the global recruitment efforts. During his tenure, he oversaw the growth of Tesla from a 400-person startup to an industry leader with more than 35,000 employees around the globe. Previously, Arnnon was the Senior Director of Staffing Operations for Google, where he designed the company's recruitment organization and talent acquisition strategy. Arnnon joined Google in 2004 when the company just emerged from its IPO and employed around 2,500 people. While he oversaw all aspects of recruitment, Google evolved into a 25,000 person technology powerhouse and transformed into a workplace considered the premier destination for ambitious software engineers and creative individuals. Before Google, Arnnon was Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Global Staffing for E*TRADE Financial.
"I have dedicated my career to making the world a better place and I've been increasingly interested in how we use a broad spectrum of innovative technology to disrupt and redefine healthcare and solve big problems that impact people directly." said Geshuri. "The best way to aggressively tackle chronic health issues is by bringing together the most talented people who are singularly focused on building great products and delivering great services. I identified Livongo as the market leader, and I am excited to join the team to build on the success they already enjoy."
