LivingSocial Expands Team with Three New Senior Executives
Social Shopping Leader Appoints Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Vice President of New Business Initiatives
WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Popular social shopping site LivingSocial, today announced three new team members to lead operations, marketing and business development. New members of the executive team include Eric Eichmann, chief operations officer, Camille Watson, vice president of marketing and communications, and Doug Miller, vice president of new business initiatives.

Eric Eichmann joins LivingSocial as chief operations officer where he will be responsible for helping the company scale its operations and expand its international presence. Eichmann served as COO of Rosetta Stone from 2006 to 2010. During that time, he oversaw sales and marketing, international expansion, and business development, which contributed to the company's successful IPO in 2009. Before that, Eichmann held the SVP of advertising operations, systems and promotions position at America Online (AOL).
Camille Watson brings more than 19 years of experience marketing consumer products and services to LivingSocial as vice president of marketing and communications. In her new role, she will focus on corporate marketing and product strategy. Watson has held several senior marketing positions at leading technology and consumer companies including The Clorox Company, Procter & Gamble, Netflix and StubHub. More recently, she served as vice president of marketing at GameFly, managing all elements of the company's marketing program, and was chief marketing officer at eReading service provider, Kobo Inc.
Doug Miller comes to LivingSocial as the vice president of new business initiatives, charged with all facets of business development, including overall strategy, new market segments and managing the existing client base. Previously he was at Expedia Inc., where he served as global vice president of media solutions leading advertising sales and operations across Expedia.com, Hotels.com and Hotwire. Prior to Expedia, Miller held various leadership positions at operating businesses of InterActiveCorp (IAC) including Ticketmaster and Citysearch.
