Provides Alexa users with access to Dr. Chopra's insights, inspiration, meditations, and practical tips on well-being
NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LivePerson, Inc. (Nasdaq: LPSN), a leading provider of conversational commerce solutions, today launched an Amazon® Alexa™ skill with Deepak Chopra, MD, a world-renowned pioneer in integrative medicine and personal transformation. The Deepak Chopra skill enables Alexa users to experience Dr. Chopra's reflections on request as well as in their Flash Briefing, an Alexa feature that provides daily news and weather.
This is the first project to emerge from LivePerson Studios, an innovation lab within LivePerson that uses the company's conversational AI capabilities to help innovative public figures share ideas over conversational channels including voice assistants and mobile messaging. LivePerson Studios furthers the company's mission of making life easier by transforming how people communicate with brands, including personal brands and influencers.

Each morning, through LivePerson's conversational tools, Dr. Chopra shares new reflections for the day to center himself and his followers. Alexa users based in the United States will be able to hear Dr. Chopra's reflections on Alexa by installing the Deepak Chopra skill and then asking Alexa to "Open Deepak's reflections." To hear Dr. Chopra's reflections, users need to install an Alexa skill or use Flash Briefings to play Dr. Chopra's daily reflections, which include access to daily insights and practical tips on well-being and human potential; keys to happiness; sex and spirituality; and social, spiritual, and emotional health. To install the skill, users can search for the "Deepak" skill in the Amazon skill store or visit www.amazon.com. After the skill is installed, users simply ask Alexa to "Open Deepak's reflections." The reflections can also be added to an Alexa users' Flash Briefing. To add this skill to your Flash Briefing, visit www.amazon.com or in the Alexa App, go to Alexa App > Settings > Flash Briefing > Search for Deepak Chopra.
