evian® Sets World Record for Longest Roller-Skating Conga Line
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., April 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, April 7th, evian® (a brand of Danone Waters of America, Inc.) presented Live Young, Skate On!, motivating the community of Miami to hydrate and stay active while having fun! Producing the city's first outdoor roller skating party in conjunction with World Health Day, evian invited the South Florida community to set the world record for the longest conga line on roller skates and the record was set with a total of 197 people. World record officials from RecordSetter.com were present to adjudicate the record setting activity.
evian's Live Young® celebrity host Gabrielle Union helped rally the crowds and participated in the world's longest roller-skating conga line alongside professional jam skaters from Roll Crew Tony Zane, Hunter Douglas, Junior Acosta, Ryan Butler, Diamond Walker and Brandon Perea as seen on "America's Best Dance Crew" and "America's Got Talent".
evian staged a pop-up roller-skating rink in Collins Park, Miami Beach featuring a four-wheel roller skate rental station and loads of entertainment for the public to enjoy. The event also featured a four-wheel skate rental station, live sounds by DJ Jubilee, edible treats from CoolHaus ice cream truck, limited edition evian baby tees and a Polite in Public photo booth that captured all the fun.
Inspiring different cities to adopt its Live young® philosophy, evian will unveil several health & fitness related activations throughout 2012. The brand will be popping up in Los Angeles, Miami and New York City this summer, spritzing its youthful spirit across the U.S.
