SAN FRANCISCO, July 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lithium Technologies today announced that it has been selected as one of the pioneer partners of AppSource, a new marketplace by Microsoft Corporation for enterprises to find and use SaaS solutions from the company and its partners. As Microsoft continues to drive its vision around this new SaaS ecosystem, Lithium was selected as a launch partner for its vision for connecting community with Dynamics 365, Microsoft's Power BI, Power Apps and Flow.
"Our relationship with Microsoft is critical and the joint Lithium-Microsoft solution brings transactional, social and behavioral data together to give businesses a clearer view of their customers and what they want," said Misha Logvinov, Chief Customer Officer, Lithium Technologies. "We are excited to bring real product depth to the AppSource vision and execute quickly alongside them as they are breaking new ground."
Lithium is tightly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, a large and growing presence in cloud-based enterprise infrastructure. Microsoft includes a Lithium content pack inside their cutting-edge big data reporting and analytics business intelligence engine, Power BI, giving enterprises the ability to connect other systems with actionable insights about their social business activities. Additionally, Microsoft and Lithium are collaborating on connectors for their market-leading app builder infrastructure, Power Apps and Flow. This makes Lithium's sophisticated cloud-based platform APIs more accessible to enterprises and partners building modern apps that drive their businesses.
"We're pleased to have Lithium as a strategic enterprise partner in AppSource," said James Phillips, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft. "Together, Microsoft and Lithium are extending their integration even further to help businesses accelerate their digital transformation and drive real value. By working together, we provide businesses with a joint solution that isn't available anywhere else in the market."
The collaboration with Microsoft extends beyond product development, with Misha Logvinov speaking at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference taking place July 10 –14 in Toronto. During the session, Logvinov will discuss the products the two companies are collaborating on, along with Lithium's role in the strategies and programs accelerating Microsoft's growth.
The Lithium application is now listed on AppSource and can be found here.
