NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that Lisa Pavelka McAlister has joined the firm as Managing Director with the U.S. Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) group. In her new role, McAlister will assist in driving the firm's IPO and capital raising services with private equity and alternative investment companies. Prior to joining PwC, McAlister served as senior vice president and COO, and also CFO, of global private equity at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

McAlister's broad experience includes financial operations and reporting, investor relations, valuations, strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting, accounting, and tax and cash management.
McAlister received her B.A. in Accountancy from New Mexico State University and an MBA in finance from Bentley University. She has served as the director at large for Financial Executives International, and is also a member of The Central Park Conservancy, American Museum of Natural History, The Museum of Modern Art as well as with private equity professional organizations.
