Liquidware Labs Appoints David Burke as Vice President of Sales
Seasoned Sales Executive to Further Accelerate Company Growth through Americas Sales Leadership
ATLANTA, Dec. 7, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation solutions for next-generation desktops, today announced that David Burke has joined the company as Vice President of Sales.
Burke has over twenty-five years of sales and sales management experience with rapidly growing enterprise technology companies. He was previously Vice President of Sales for RTO Software, a desktop virtualization vendor acquired by VMware earlier this year. Prior to RTO, he ran sales for SPI Dynamics, where he grew revenues to over $20 million annually, before SPI was acquired by HP. Burke has also held sales management roles at Internet Security Systems (ISS), Attachmate/DCA, and The Sutherland Group (a XEROX spinoff).
"There is major interest from companies of all sizes for Liquidware Lab's proven Stratusphere and ProfileUnity solutions. I am thrilled to grow our Americas operations and continue to drive our market leadership," said Burke. "The strong demand for these products to date, and our rapidly growing customer base, have proven that Liquidware Labs brings a unique new solution for moving to and managing next generation desktops."
Building on the heels of the company's recent rapid success, Burke will oversee the growth of the Americas sales team to respond to the increasing partner and customer interest in the company's desktop transformation management solutions for physical and virtual desktops.
"We are delighted to have David join us to lead our sales effort. We are putting a fantastic team together to bring a world-class product to our customers," said J. Tyler Rohrer, founder of Liquidware Labs. "David's experience in building strong customer bases for emerging technologies will help us expand our market share even more rapidly."
