Liquid Church To Mobilize 4,000 Volunteers To Give 10,000 Hours Of Service To Communities In Need During Love Week
Weeklong Outreach from October 29th through November 5th to Include Building Homes, Serving People with Special Needs, Veterans, Feeding the Homeless and Hungry, Mentoring Youth and Much More
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Oct. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to serve an increasing number of people in need and the local non-profit organizations laboring to serve them, Liquid Church, one of New Jersey's fastest-growing Christian churches, will mobilize 4,000 volunteers to give 10,000 hours of service in one week, Love Week, to communities across multiple counties in New Jersey.

Each of the hundreds of community service projects planned for Love Week looks a little different. Times for service opportunities range from morning, during the day, or in the evening and options are available for individuals to sign up on their own or with a group. Projects are also available for families to serve together with their children, including families of children with special needs.
Examples of opportunities to serve with Liquid Church during Love Week are as follows:
- Essex County -Hoops-4-Kicks - Nutley, NJ: Hoops-4-Kicks is a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for high school students to collect shoes for people in need across the globe, including hurricane victims. Volunteers and competitors are encouraged to donate new or lightly-used shoes to participate.
- Middlesex County -Hugs for Brady 5K Run - Cranbury, NJ: The Hugs for Brady Foundation is dedicated to helping kids battling childhood cancer. The 5K run will take place as part of the organization's Halloween Family Fun Festival, during which volunteers will help with activities such as face painting, food trucks, vendor tents, and a "trunk-or-treat" car show.
- Morris County - Parsippany PAL - Parsippany, NJ: The Parsippany PAL provides over 4,000 local children with various activities and sports programs. Volunteers are invited to help prepare classrooms and commons areas for painting, among other projects throughout the day.
- Somerset County - Agape House - Somerville, NJ: The Agape House is a house of hope for the community, providing temporary housing and case management to homeless families and individuals. Volunteers will help with various renovation projects, including painting, cleaning and adding storage space.
- Union County - New York City Relief - Mountainside, NJ: New York City Relief provides shelter, medical care, addiction recovery and job training as lifelines to those in need throughout New York and New Jersey. Volunteers are invited to help assemble hygiene kits, which will be distributed by New York City Relief.
