Lionel André, Former SEC and DOJ Attorney, Joins Murphy & McGonigle
NEW YORK, Feb. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Murphy & McGonigle, P.C. announced today that Lionel André has joined the firm as a shareholder in its Washington, D.C. office. Mr. André's arrival continues the strong trend of top litigation and regulatory talent joining the financial services law firm that was founded in 2010.
"Lionel will leverage his knowledge and experience from nearly three decades of prosecuting SEC Enforcement matters and DOJ criminal matters to address our clients' most sensitive legal matters and to protect their interests. Most recently, Mr. André served as Assistant United States Attorney in the Fraud and Public Corruption Section in the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. At the U.S. Attorney's Office, he served as Senior Litigation Counsel and Health Care Fraud Coordinator in the Fraud and Public Corruption Section. Prior to that, Mr. André spent time at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission as Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel, Senior Counsel, and Staff Attorney, Division of Enforcement.
