RESTON, Va., Dec. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Link Solutions, Inc. (LSi), a rapidly growing provider of high- end solutions to the federal  government, announced today that it has received Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 rating.

CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve organization performance. CMMI helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, set process improvement goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes, and provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.

The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement is an extensive review and analysis of Requirements Management, Project Planning, Project Monitoring and Control, Measurement and Analysis, Process and Product Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management.  Obtaining a CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating has been a great achievement for LSi along with the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 20000:2011 certifications received this past year.
