Liner Upgrade for High-Performance Tapes from Avery Dennison
Enhanced delivery of new patented acrylic adhesive technology
The products - Avery Dennison HPA 1902 W and HPA 1905 W - are now supplied as standard with a moisture-stable, stay-flat white PPP liner.
Strong bonding performance
Avery Dennison HPA 1902 W and 1905 W tapes offer high temperature, chemical, UV, and humidity resistance, and outstanding shear strength and holding power under load. They are engineered to provide a strong bond to a variety of high- and medium-surface-energy substrates such as glass, plastic, PET, polycarbonate, and ABS. The relatively thick acrylic adhesive layer on Avery Dennison HPA 1905 W is an additional benefit for demanding gap-filling applications.
Choice of release liner
In addition to the new PPP-linered qualities, the choice of a PET liner is also offered for applications where the highest-quality die-cutting and lay- flat characteristics may be required, plus the option of double-linered PPP versions, HPA 2902 and 2905.
For challenging applications
Together, the HPA products now represent a 'library' of specialty tapes delivering 21st century adhesive technology and applied performance. Primarily meeting the needs of industrial converters who specialize in the durable goods market, Avery Dennison HPA 1902 W and 1905 W are already finding use in high- end membrane switch, nameplate, component identification, and electrical rating plate fastening applications.
