LINE-X® Protective Coatings Expands International Presence

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- LINE-X® Protective Coatings, the nation's leading developer and provider of high performance protective coatings, now has a presence in 35 countries outside the United States.

LINE-X has had a strong presence in Canada, Mexico and the UK for many years, but in the last year LINE-X has greatly expanded its global presence.  "We believe the global expansion of LINE-X speaks strongly to the reputation of LINE-X and the quality of the LINE-X products that we offer." Master distributors in Canada, the United Kingdom and Mexico joined the LINE-X Corporation early on, and now have multiple dealers working with them throughout their regions. In October 2009, Grzegorz Harsze established a LINE-X Master Distributorship in Poland, and has since secured rights to establish LINE-X dealers in the Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

"Today we have 14 dealers in Poland," Harsze said. "My plan is to have at least 20 dealers in Poland and 20 dealers in each of the additional three countries by the end of 2012."

Marcelo Caceres and his family established a LINE-X dealership in Santiago, Chile earlier this year. The Caceres family received their first shipment of LINE-X material in April.  Although the spray-on bedliner is more costly than the typical drop-in bedliner, Caceres is looking forward to success. "It was not easy to introduce the new concept of a spray-on bedliner in Chile, but we sprayed more than 100 vehicles in the first four months," he said.

Dr. Ibrahim Elgindy has been the Master Distributor in Egypt for more than 10 years, and has recently added Algeria. Elgindy, a professor of materials, has invested in continued research and product development of the products. He has applied LINE-X to crude oil tanks and pipelines, sewage treatment tanks and even the tops of naval ships. "LINE-X polymers have unique and non-paralleled superior characteristics," Elgindy said.
