PARIS, May 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Linde Process Plants, Inc. (LPP) announced that it will speak at the 26th World Gas Conference, June 1-5, 2015. Over 100 countries will be represented at the triennial event, which provides a comprehensive combination of topics across the entire oil and gas value chain.
LPP will showcase their standard NGL plant (STANDARD-PLUS™), which was designed to provide the same high recoveries, low energy consumption, and rapid transition between ethane recovery and ethane rejection as their custom NGL plant (CRYO-PLUS™). Ron Key, Vice President of Technology and Innovation for LPP, said, "Linde offers a full range of standard solutions. Our technologies can change the economics of processing natural gas by increasing the recovery of NGL's or by facilitating the plant to process more gas with minor or no additional power consumption." Key's presentation in session IS. WOC 14: Technologies for the monetisation of gas reserves will focus on quick to market and cost effective recovery of NGL's while readying natural gas for liquefaction or pipeline transportation.
Key will also highlight a new Linde technology in session IS. PGC D3: Small Scale LNG on Friday, June 5, 2015. This exciting new product, StarLNGL™, is the small scale solution to kick-start the LNG market. The technology takes advantage of existing cryogenic operating conditions in an NGL plant to efficiently make LNG, while also increasing NGL production of the host plant. This approach is by far the most cost-effective method to produce LNG because it eliminates redundant infrastructure needs and actually improves the overall efficiency of the NGL operation. "We see great potential with LNG and we are invested in moving this segment of the market forward," said Key.
Dr. Heinz Bauer, Vice President of Technology for Linde Engineering's Natural Gas product line, will share his LNG insights in sessions, PGC D-4: The Role of LNG in Sustainability and Environmental Quality and IS. PGC D 1: Remote LNG. Dr. Bauer, said, "Linde is in the best position to supply LNG technology and plants globally because our technologies are neutral with respect to process cycle. Linde technologies range from simple nitrogen to multilevel mixed refrigerant cycles. Regardless of geographic location, the flexibility of the options positively impacts the customer's economic position."
