LIBERTYVILLE, Ill., April 30, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Linda M. Sommercorn, DDS is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Top Dentist in the specialty of Endodontics at Accurate Endodontics.

With over 30 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Sommercorn excels at Root Canal Treatment, Cracked Teeth, Traumatic Injuries, Extractions, Bone Crafting, Dental Implants, Endodontic Treatment, and Apicoectomy. With her research in the development and growth of teeth outside the mouth taking particular distinction amongst the dental community, Dr. Sommercorn was chosen to present her research at the American Association of Endodontists annual meeting in New York for which she received an AAE award.

Throughout her education and training, Dr. Sommercorn received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois, graduating in the top 10% of her class. Later, she obtained her Master's in Oral Biology from Northwestern University Dental School and went on to receive a specialty certificate in Endodontics.

To further her professional development, Dr. Sommercorn continues to be supportive of the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Feed The Children and various Libertyville area sports teams through donations and volunteering. Also, she is an active member of several national, state and local dental and endodontic specialty organizations that include: the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), the Illinois Association of Endodontists (IAE), the Chicago Dental Society (CDS), and the Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club.

Standing out amongst her peers, Dr. Sommercorn received several awards: Best in Dental Radiology, Best in Endodonics and the Pediatric Dentistry Award.
