Linda DeBruin To Join Textura as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel

CHICAGO, April 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --  Textura® Corporation (NYSE: TXTR) announced today that Linda DeBruin will join the company today as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel.

DeBruin joins Textura from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she was an equity partner in its intellectual property department for over 20 years.  During her time at Kirkland she focused on patent litigation with a special emphasis on computer and communication issues.  Some of DeBruin's recent professional recognitions include the following: Managing Intellectual Property IP Stars 2013; IAM Patent 1000: The World's Leading Patent Practitioners for 2013; and The International Who's Who of Patent Lawyers 2013.  Of particular note, DeBruin represented BlackBerry in numerous high profile patent litigation cases in recent years.

Prior to joining Kirkland, DeBruin worked for eight years at AT&T – Bell Laboratories as a computer scientist and engineer, designing digital switching systems for international applications.
