Linda Brennan of McGraw-Hill Construction Elected to ABC Board of Directors
NEW YORK, Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Linda Brennan, McGraw-Hill Construction's vice president of operations, has been elected to the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) Board of Directors, the governing body of one of the publishing industry's leading providers of audited print circulation information, readership demographics, and website activity data. As a director, Brennan will represent U.S. business publications. ABC's membership elected nine new directors to its North American board and re-elected several others at its divisional meetings on Nov. 11.
"We are delighted that Linda has been elected to serve on the ABC Board," said Keith Fox, president, McGraw-Hill Construction. "Linda is invaluable to operations, strategy development, and customer fulfillment at McGraw-Hill Construction. She is a leader in the publishing industry and will be a great asset to ABC as they address circulation challenges in our digital age and turn customer data into actionable intelligence for publishing and advertising professionals."
As vice president of operations, Brennan drives efficiency, innovation, and execution for McGraw-Hill's key operational areas — Dodge editorial, media production, circulation, marketing, communications, and events — with a focus on customer fulfillment, circulation, and brand and lead generation efforts. Prior to her current role, Brennan served as VP of strategic initiatives at McGraw-Hill Construction. She joined McGraw-Hill in 2006 as VP of global consumer marketing at BusinessWeek and has also held senior positions at Gemstar-TV Guide, Time Inc., and New England Monthly Magazine. Brennan is an adjunct professor at New York University's Master of Science in Publishing program and a guest instructor at the Columbia Publishing Program. She received her bachelor's degree in economics from Smith College.
